Edible Flowers
By letting my mustard and other leafy spring greens go to seed, I allow both the bees and myself to get nourishment from the flowers. It makes a beautiful addition to my salads. Calendula's orange and yellow pedals, borage's purple fuzzy flowers taste like cucumber, and johnny jump ups and other violas are just so pretty on my dishes.
